“He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” Micah 6:8
See below what we reviewed the last few weeks:
If you have not had the opportunity to go through the first 3 steps, please take time this week to go through them. If you have already worked through these steps, please write your revised prayer down today.
We are blessed to have the power of the Holy Spirit when we deal with difficult situations. Are you someone who tends to “go it alone”? If so, you will continue to be distressed, disheartened or disillusioned. God did not intend for you to be alone, lonely or powerless. He provided the power of the Holy Spirit to help you.
“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.” Romans 8:26 27
Dear Heavenly Father, as I consider the situation I need to deal with I want to thank You for the Holy Spirit who guides, comforts and gives strength. My prayer is that the Holy Spirit will teach me what I need to know and provide the strength to do what I need to do. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Monday: As you review your prayer, what comes to your heart and mind as something you need help with?
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1-3
Tuesday: Ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart for why this might be a difficulty.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13
Wednesday Ask God for wisdom to know what to do. Spend time sitting in His Presence as you seek Him.
“But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” John 14:26
Thursday: Ask the Holy Spirit for the strength you need to do what needs to be done.
“In the day when I cried out You answered me and made me bold with strength in my soul.” Psalm 138:3
Friday: Have you been journaling what God is revealing to you as you do what He requires of you? If not, it is never too late to start. You will be blessed by looking back and seeing the blessings He has provided.
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6
Have a great week!
