This past week you may have been blessed with multiple gifts of joy, help, safety, protection, shelter, refuge, strength, comfort, love, courage, rest and/or peace as you sat quietly in His Presence. Perhaps there was something in particular you needed a specific touch from God about and you deeply felt His presence and provision. You were able start your work day with the calmness that comes from the Lord. What a blessing as you recalled His love and practical, biblical advice during your day.
“Because He bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath.” Psalm 116: 2
God will reveal Himself through His Word as you spend time in His Presence. I love to actually sit with my hand on the Bible as I visualize God bending down to listen to me. The touch of your hand on His Word can be reflective of the touch of His Hand on your life. Part of spending time with the Lord before the start of your busy work day involves seeing what God wants to reveal to you as you spend time in His Word.
Consider the love of God and His direction for your day in just a few of the verses of Psalms below. See how they directly relate to what you might be dealing with at work.
Have a great week!
